The mechanical seal directly affects the service life of the bead mill and the grinding stability. Check the below to install and replace the machine seal.
1. Get familiar with the structure and basic composition of the mechanical seal.
2. Remove the inner cylinder and dispersion plate components, the screen, the front cover and discharge cover of the cylinder, the sealing ring, etc.
3. Clean the core bearing and the moving and stationary rings with solvents.
4. Reinstall the new mechanical seal, and ensure the O-ring is installed correctly. Install the pallet and cylinder, with the scraper in the middle position.
5. Assemble the screen and dispersion disk onto the shaft to ensure the gap between the inner and the outer scraper is 0.4mm.
6. Install the cylinder and check the lubricant position
