Main Process of Chemical Processing Equipment in EPC Smart Factory

In production lines of new materials, fine chemicals, food, and pharmaceuticals, LONGLY provides EPC services (Engineering, procurement, and construction, a type of turnkey contract) with the MES production execution management system to achieve data-driven manufacturing and to realize smart factory upgrades.


The automatic production processes generally involve powder/solvent batching, metering &weighing, feeding &loading, pre-mixing, grinding, dispersion &mixing, and filling & storage, among which impurity removal and demagnetization can be added according to actual needs. If the target product is dry powders, spray drying, and kiln sintering are necessary.


Main Equipment Used in EPC Smart Factory


On feeding, there are mainly dust-free feeding stations, ton bag feeding stations, small bag feeding stations, and vacuum feeding machines.


Micron bead mills, nano bead mills, planetary mixers, high-pressure homogenizers, homogenization equipment, etc. are common in the solid-liquid grinding and dispersing stage.

In terms of warehousing and logistics, automated storage and retrieval systems (ASRS or AS/RS)  ensure the convenience of transportation.


The automatic control system including the MES system interlocks the various processes of the smart plants, adopting modular management from production statistics, material production, and data monitoring. Each process collaborates to achieve multi-dimensional coordination creating core value.
