Longly® - Mill is a kind of fully closed continuous horizontal wet grinding machine, which is able to grind materials into superfine particles. Its working principle is like this: Send mixed material into grinding chamber with charging pump (e.g. diaphragm pump or gear pump, etc), where an appropriate amount of grinding media is added (e.g. glass beads or zirconium beads, etc). The specially designed dispersing discs are mounted on the main shaft symmetrically to transmit the energy required for dispersion and grinding to grinding media by means of high speed rotation of dispersing discs, which give grinding media high strength kinetic energy. And shearing strength will be generated by their impacting against particles of required by the products and dispersion effect. After that, material being ground will be separated from grinding media and discharged via dynamic gap separation device.
Thanks to its advantage that excellent quality can be obtained and continuous mass production can be performed without high operating skills of three roller grinding machine, so it can improve quality and reduce cost. The fully closed design has overcome waste out of evaporation of materials, as compared with vertical grinding chamber, the horizontal grinding chamber has greatly improved packing capacity of grinding beads and density of energy and solved the problems such as beads sinking to the bottom and fragile beads. Moreover, the dispersing disc is designed to be the most appropriate geometric shape. All these are the cause for high efficiency of Longly® wet grinding machine. |
